Past, Present, Future

The company was formed in 1972 by Mark Cofman as an independent real estate company specializing in the sale, management, and acquisition of apartment buildings.

In 1986 the company opened a residential division with Norm Polsky as the broker. The organization grew from two agents to its current size of 75 full-time residential specialists.

In 1993 Ginny Hughes joined our office as a Broker / Manager to provide further support for our agents and associates.

In 1995 Realty Exchange - Residential division joined Coldwell Banker as the only local independently owned franchise in St. Louis. The company grew to be the number one affiliate company in the State of Missouri. This production came as a directly result of the 75 full-time agents and the quality of service they provided to their clients.

In 2003 Coldwell Banker Premier moved to its present location in the St. Louis Real Estate Center. The move came about as result of a vision to provide the real estate customer with more services all under one roof:

• Residential Real Estate Sales with COLDWELL BANKER PREMIER
• Investment/Commercial Real Estate Sales with REALTY EXCHANGE
• Property Management Services with APARTMENT EXCHANGE
• Mortgage Services with HEARTLAND PREMIER MORTGAGE
• Title Services with INVESTOR'S TITLE
• Home Insurance services with INSURANCE CONSULTANTS

In 2004 Coldwell Banker Premier acquired 2 more offices, one in South County and an office in Washington, MO.  Later that year the company started a New Homes Department.

In 2006 Coldwell Banker Premier became Coldwell Banker Premier Group.
